THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVES
A Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) is a valve that blends hot water with cold water to ensure constant, safe outlet temperatures to preventing scalding.
The storage of water at high temperature removes one possible breeding ground for Legionella; the use of a thermostat rather than a static mixing valve provides increased safety against scalding, and increased user comfort because the hot-water temperature remains constant.
TMV’s require servicing annually and replacement of thermostatic element at regular intervals depending to the brand and type of valve installed. Wagner Group service is certified to install, service and commission these valves for all applications including Hospital, public areas and child care facilities.
We are able to complete a detailed site audit to determine the location and service requirements of the valves installed at your premises
